BBC Realises “LGB” People Have Thoughts

The BBC announced yesterday that they’re launching a consultation about their representation of “LGB” people.

“The three-part study will include audience research, an online survey and a consultation with lesbian, gay and bisexual community groups across the UK.”

What surprises me is that they haven’t found any community groups with the letter “T” in the title.

Anyway.

I’m glad that they’re doing the consultation, and the survey seems to be constructed in a fairly open-ended way, so there’s plenty of space to point out that they’ve missed people out.

If you have the time and inclination, the online survey is here. Have fun!
